Events - June 2006

June 2006, New York: Events in New York are non-stop. Fortunately! On a daily basis, especially in New York, there is something going on and whenever possible I like to grab the camera and shoot up a storm; digital-like.

I was a little curious to see how the crowd would react to the Dixie Chicks since they've been on the 'outs' with a lot of folks who are President Bush fans. Just a rock solid group and man, these chicks can play and sing. Shouts from the audience were "New York Loves You!" and it was great to see people enjoying pure entertainment without bringing along a political agenda.

With a new album out this spring, I predict they will do just fine even if some radio stations refuse to play their music. Silly world sometimes. While the 'Chicks' are not afraid to sit down and address their political views with news reporters, thankfully none of that was brought to the stage and anyone who wants to see the best selling female band of all time might do well to buy a ticket to one of their concerts and just enjoy the day.

Have an event coming up where you would like that extra zoom lens and high speed photography? Look no further. Meanwhile enjoy the eye-candy. Life is good. Please feel free to contact Glen Gilbert Productions by sending an email using the Contact GGP applet to the right.

Please include your name and your email address. Don't worry about privacy. We don't use your information for any advertising or use it for any other purpose than to reply to comments and questions. We will not keep your email address on file unless you want us to. Simple!
